Here is our 2008 31 Fisharound designed and rigged for serious fishing by Greg Stotesbury along with the greatest talents in the Southern California boating industry.

We started out with the best platform to create the ultimate trailerable sportfisher. Nothing was overlooked and attention to detail was paid in every aspect in making this vessel a reality.

We choose a Contender 31 Fisharound hull for it's performance in speed, strength in seaworthyness, and accomadations for overnight excursions. We chose to power her with the proven and reliable Yamaha F250 outboards. This gives our boat a cruise at 31 knots at burning only 14 GPH.

Her fishability is unparalled in all catagories. We had a custom foldable tower fabricated by Tom Rodgers of Saltwater Specialties. Tom rigged the tower with full instumentation so that all vessel information as well as electronics are at your finger tips. The electronics we picked is the new state of the art Simrad GB 40 system which includes a 4kw radar, 50/200 dual frequency fish finder, and GPS Charplotter with overlay capabilities. All of this is integrated with her Simrad VHF with Digital Selective Calling giving you peace of mind should help every be needed.

We used the latest Carbon Fiber outriggers by CE Smith which give you flexability to troll any spread that is need to attract the fish. She comes with two 40 gallon presurized bait tanks with a custom designed seachest pickup for her highspeed application. This insures that your bait is suspended in a protected environment, giving your bait longevity and keeping it lively when it comes time to pin that first bait on.

Prelude” is one of the finest examples of a custom built yacht fisherman that we have seen in this size category!

Built by the highly acclaimed Knight & Carver shipyard in San Diego. There was much thought and time placed into her build by her experienced owner and it shows.

A perfect example of this is the several weeks the owner took picking out the veneer of the Anagrae wood used throughout the boat. The thought given to her interior layout also shows the experience of an owner who has used his boats for family day excursions and long distance cruises.
