On February 13, 2010 a gathering of over 20 of the top billfish captains and anglers in the world, slated the Billfish Expo, will take place at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay.  This “How-To Extravaganza” will be a great opportunity to meet and learn from the world’s top anglers and captains.  The list of presenters is a virtual who’s who in the world of big game fishing. We are very proud to have Captain Steve Lassley and Captain Pete Groesbeck join the likes of Captain Ray Rosher, Captain Gene Vandehoek, Captain Kevin Nakamura, Captain Skip Smith, Captain Bubba Carter and more than a dozen other top anglers and captains as speakers at this prestigious event.

There will be a variety of topics covered during this one day educational event, including techniques for all species of billfish, use of circle hooks, etc.  Captains Lassley and Groesbeck will be presenting on the topics of striped marlin fishing and blue marlin fishing, sharing their knowledge and experience gathered over the past 30+ years.  Lassley will also be presenting on the topic of using electronics, a subject he has earned the highest praise from his peers over the years.  “Steve and Pete have worked so hard over their careers as professional captains, it is very appropriate that they join these other noted anglers and captains on a stage such as this” stated Team Bad Company owner Anthony Hsieh.  “It has taken a long time, but our West Coast boys are finally getting the global recognition they deserve” Hsieh added.  Captains Lassley and Groesbeck will be quick to point out that their success is not an individual effort, but the culmination of the team effort they are an instrumental part of.
