Short version- Marlin- 5 bites 3 Hookups 2 Releases, 1 YFT
Fished Saturday with Dad, uncle Brian and brother Scott between 289 and the Head (connecting the dots from last weeks marks). At around 1015 we had 2 fish up in the jigs. One on each short corner. One screaming line and the other missing the lure and following. We were not able to switch out that fish, but did catch the one on the jig. Went in 4 miles off the head and caught a single YFT on a tern bird school on a kelp line. Went back to the jig bite numbers and began seeing tailers late in the afternoon. Caught the second one we saw. Found another and got our bait picked. Found a group of three. Hooked the first one. Had it on for ten minutes while trying to bait the other two fish that were still tailing. While dragging baits in front of the tailers, my fish jumped at the boat and gave me the hook back. Oh well, got burned being greedy. Didn't see anymore fish and ran home.

Sounds like fish are rolling in from all areas. The 267 seems to be re-loading. Fish short or long, lots of fish out there guys, go get them!
