The management team of Ellsworth Marine has recently joined forces with Crow's Nest Yachts.  Founder Tom Ellsworth and Sales Manager Bruce Sterling bring a wealth of experience and professionalism to the CNY team.  Over the past several years, they have done an outstanding job, placing over $100 million of Riviera Yachts in the market, along with a large amount of brokerage boats.  “The addition of Tom and Bruce to our team strengthens our position in the industry.  These are top quality people and we are thrilled to be working with them” stated CNY CEO Anthony Hsieh.  “We welcome them and Ellsworth Marine customers to the Crow's Nest Family” Hsieh added.   

In an announcement to his clients last week, Tom Ellsworth said “I have formally merged my company's assets into the Crows Nest effective last week. They are a tremendous organization with a laser focus on sport fishing. Anthony Hsieh has stayed the course in very difficult times and I am positive that his organization will be the premier sport fishing yacht sales and service center on the west coast if they are not already today.”

Bruce Sterling has joined the Shelter Island Crow's Nest Yachts office, which is located across the street from the former Ellsworth Marine office.  Bruce has a strong background in the sport fishing yacht market, and will be right at home representing the Crow’s Nest product line.  “I am very excited about having the opportunity to offer both the Tiara and Viking brands, in particular the Viking Bad Company Editions.  I have sold many new sport fishers that needed months of modifications to be fish ready, and now I am able to offer a true turn key product designed by the best in the business”  he commented when asked about coming over to Crow’s Nest Yachts.      

Tom Ellsworth (seen here on the tower of EPYC game boat Bodacious) will maintain his brokerage license through Crow’s Nest Yachts, and will focus his attention on special projects, beginning with the (2009) re-launch of the Eastern Pacific Yacht Club (EPYC) with its floating clubhouse, the 165 foot mother ship Pacific Provider. 

We are doggedly passionate about making this club a success and have decided to launch a new Limited Trial Membership program to help potential members experience the club and encourage them to join in the effort to make this club successful.

Other projects Tom will be spearheading include organizing a CNY Magdalena Bay Fishing Rendezvous the first week of November, and a unique satellite tagging program/contest that will be both exciting and informative to the participants.
