I was out with Steve Pinnard from Dana Landing on his 6-pack "Impulse" Tuesday 7/1.  We worked towards the 182 and fished most of the day on all sides of it.  Water had turned a bit off color on the bank- best water looked to be on the north end.  We saw no sign of tuna other than a few marks on a school of dolphin with some turns working over them.  Captain Russell said it was a very different look than the previous weekend when there were spots of bluefin and albacore up.  Perhaps the sloppy weather put the fish down, perhaps the off color water- but we did not get a stop on the jigs all day nor did we see a tuna.  We did get 3 yellowtail on two different kelps- one a whoping 38.2 pounds caught by Russell's friend Carter.
