Offshore season is here
First MARLIN of the season reportedly hooked a released on the 302 yesterday
A reported BIG swordfish was also hooked outside the same area.
Get the Mackerel casters ready!
Tuna fishing for albies and blue fin on the inner banks and within 50 miles is getting better ever day. Trolling with small jigs in the dark colors is working the best right now.
There has not been many baits stop yet, but as more fish filter into the area "Watch Out". The area outside and 371 is the most consistent bite for the alibis with some tuna taken on and around the 302.
Tip: there is alot of Bonita mix in with the tuna. Find the Bonita and soak baits in the area and try chunking. The bluefin might find you!
Patty fishing is producing good yellowtail fishing and boats are catching Tunas near around the kelps. Try slow trolling Sardine with Fluorocarbon and circle hooks for a shot at a BFT.
Good Luck and Good Fishing!
